The person whose video you are 'borrowing' is in a win/win situation! More people 'seeing' their message plus a link to their video.

I agree. It is not taking credit away from them because it links back to the original on Youtube. If you were to download it and then put it back up under your name, then you would have a problem; but just using the embed feature is fine.

I would think they wouldn't have the Url's you can embed if there was a problem with that. Any one else?

So my next question is...what about copyrights if you are "borrowing" a video from YouTube to build content in your niche and therefore traffic on your website?

Hi Peter:
I am new at building lenses but it is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. You just ad a YouTube module then you can either search for videos yourself or have YouTube give you suggestions from keywords you enter right in the module.

Hi Peter, yes Matthew is correct, if you do video get it onto Youtube and then take the url of it and place it into a Youtube video module. If you don't then grab a niche-familiar video off Youtube and do the same.
If you are not using your own video limit yourself to the number of videos you use as they are potential 'escape' routes for potential customers!

I may be mistaken here, but I am pretty sure you have to put them on Youtube and embed them in your Squidoo page.

Hi Michaelmac...I have not created any lenses as of yet. I am working on my first website and was planning on getting into this area to build traffic. I would really like to know how to upload videos to Squidoo....I think that would really help traffic...Thanks in advance for any help,
